Range of Services
We offer you comprehensive advice throughout your entire project on feasibility, materials and costs.
We would be pleased to take over your existing CAD data.
For laser cuts we require data in .dxf or .dwg format.
For curved components/assemblies we need .stp, .ipt, .iam, .prt, .asm, .x_t.
If no CAD data is available, we can design the components according to your specifications.
With a large scanner we are able to convert flat components or templates made of opaque material into CAD data and then produce laser cuts.
Lasers / Tube Lasers
We cut, mark and label both sheet metal (2D) and pipes/profiles (3D).
• Length: up to 3000 mm
• Width: up to 1500 mm
– steel: 25 mm
– stainless steel: 20 mm
– Aluminium: 12 mm
- Tube / Profiles
• Length up to 2800 mm
• Outer-Ø up to 450 mm
Bending / Folding
We bend sheets up to 3000 mm wide with standard radii between 1 mm and 50 mm. The bending angles can be selected at will between 1° and 180°.
Z-steps and embossing are possible.
Rolling of profiles and sheets
- Profiles up to Ø 48 mm
- Sheets up to 1200 mm wide, 5 mm thick
We are a certified welding company according to DIN EN 1090 EXC2.
We weld assemblies in all common processes.
Steel, stainless steel, aluminium up to approx. 20 mm
• steel, stainless steel up to approx. 15 mm
• Aluminium up to approx. 10 mm
- Stud Welding
Setting of bolts/nuts up to 8 mm
- Spot Welding
Joining of thin sheets up to 4 mm
- Profiles up to ∅ 220 mm
- freely selectable cutting anglesl
- controlled stop up to 6000 mm
Drilling / Milling / Thread cutting
with manual and CNC controlled maschines.
- Max. component size 4500 x 420 x 400 mm
- Cut threads
In cooperation with our partners, we also carry out milling work on large welded assemblies.
Pressing in / Joining / Riveting
Inserting threads, bolts, nuts and functional/fixing elements into sheets and profiles.
Dimensions depend on the material.
- Inserting bolts/nuts up to 8 mm
- Joining of thin sheets up to 4 mm
- press-fitting of components
Clinching / Spot welding
- Different materials and thicknesses can be joined together during clinching..
Clinching is a form-fit, highly stressable connection for sheets and profiles, which is achieved by local cold forming without heat input and without fasteners
- With spot welding 2 identical sheets can be inseparably joined together
Set bolts and nuts
Setting of functional and fastening elements of bolts/nuts
Welding on offers advantages for bolts and nuts:
- possible with bent components
- easy to use in places that are difficult to reach
During laser cutting and punching, a burr is created depending on the system and the type and thickness of the material, which can be removed depending on the application.
For smaller mass-produced articles we offer vibratory grinding for rounding. In this process, the parts to be deburred are placed in a container together with grinding wheels. The working container is set in a rotating or oscillating movement. This causes the workpieces and grinding wheels to move relative to each other, which leads to the edges of the workpiece being rounded.
Ferrum Lasercut is allowed to stamp blanks according to customer specifications, with batch, alloy specification and authorization code to ensure the traceability of the material. This applies in particular to the traceability of manufacturer batches for pressure vessels and tank installations.
