Useful utensil for companies of all kinds
The beamer cage:
safe – practical – universally applicable
The safe garage for the beamer
At many small and large events, in meeting rooms and conference halls the beamer has its appearance. It is advantageous to suspend the device from the ceiling. This way the beamer has an unobstructed view of the projection surface, is not in the way, requires no logistical transport/storage effort and is reasonably protected against access by unauthorised persons.
Thinking off the box
Against this background Ferrum Lasercut came to the project “beamer cage”. Originally, cages were to be built on the basis of steel L-profiles. For the later simple connection of the beamer to power and data lines, holes were provided at various, exactly defined points on the L-profile frame. These customer specifications would have involved a great deal of welding work, which would have meant increased time and costs.
Ferrum therefore decided on a different approach, which promised significant advantages in terms of production time, precision and stability.
The entire construction was designed as a two-part assembly and unwound onto a flat sheet metal plate. The parts were laser cut with the desired holes in one operation, later bent on the bending bench and finally welded.
The result: the beamer cage is robust, safe and a perfect fit.
